1.Love the 2.5D the angle made the game feel Less RPGMaker and makes me wanna use a 2.5D and 2. I got the answer right this first time but I added a “-s” to the end me feel like i was wrong the whole time that I had to cheat lol
Thank you so much for playing and streaming the game! Your commentary was hilarious!!! And yeah, a lot of players seem to add the “s.” I’m not sure if I should just make that an acceptable answer or not.
Thank you very much. I say both Wall/s and have it jump to the label if correct. That way it saves time (in theory) that you won’t have to make another branch. Optionally if you want a piece of dialogue that can confirm that was the correct place. again it’s all optional
This was really cute. I liked both the MC and the ghost, they had a funny dynamic (and the ghost cracked me up when we first got to talk with him. He's kind of snarky, and I love it.)
The simple puzzles were a nice touch too.
Even without art for the cutscenes, it was a really engaging game! The dialogue was really good and it definitely brought out the characters personalities.
(although I am so sorry, if you do watch my video I ended up giving the MC a kinda silly voice. It just happened, and then I rolled with it ^^;)
The ending honestly surprised me a little, though! But I enjoyed it all the same.
Good work! Keep it up! And if you decide to update the game with art for the cutscenes, I'll definitely play it again.
(Also, I hope you don't mind that I used your game page banner on my video thumbnail? Normally I use in-game assets/images. If you do, just tell me and I'll figure out what to change it to.)
Thank you so much for playing and leaving such a lovely post!!! I loved watching your playthrough and your reactions were really cute and fun! Thank you so much for being so positive despite how janky the game is. I’m glad you enjoyed it!!!
I’m currently working on developing a demo for a larger game, so updates to this game won’t be likely. Maybe in the future when I have more time. :’( For my next game, I’ll definitely have more art!
And yes! You have permission to use my art for your thumbnail.
Of course! I had a lot of fun with it! You did a good job with Haunted.
And thank you for watching. I'm so glad you enjoyed my reactions 💜 I didn't really notice much of the jankiness in Haunted, but I always find a bit of jankiness charming in indie games.
No worries. Good luck with your demo (and the full game, eventually) I look for forward to playing it!
Thank you!
Oooo I like the new banner.
Thank you! The original was something I threw together last minute. I also didn’t get to implement any art for cutscenes, so at least the banner and cover image can be how I (somewhat) envisioned.
how do you do the 10 letter word thing
Hello! I've written out the answer below.
Answer: wall
(The case shouldn't matter.)
If you turn off the room's light (you can use items to light up the room instead), there should be an outline of a human body (in the fetal position) on the wall. That was supposed to be the hint for the word puzzle, but I guess that wasn't very obvious. My bad!
The smaller outline was supposed to be where the killer buried the murder weapon, but I didn't have enough time to explain everything. Maybe one day I'll fix and flesh out this game.
Thank you for playing!
Thanks! ive been enjoying this game :)!! I'm looking forward 2 it!
